Laurence Barker (Houston, 1930) is an American artist, printmaker and master papermaker.
After serving as Head of Printmaking at Cranbrook Academy of Art (1960–1970), he settled in Barcelona, where he established a studio and paper mill and became closely involved with the Museu Molí Paperer de Capellades.
Barker collaborated with leading artists such as Joan Miró, Robert Rauschenberg, Lichtenstein and Antoni Tàpies, and is regarded as a key figure in the development of handmade paper as a contemporary artistic medium.
